1,988 new COVID-19 cases, 4 deaths recorded in UAE in 24 hours

Gulf Today, Staff Reporter 

The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) registered 1,988 coronavirus cases on Tuesday.

In addition to the new cases, 2,138 individuals have recovered and four people passed away.

Using state-of-the-art medical testing equipment, the ministry conducted 254, 944 additional COVID-19 tests in the last 24 hours.

In a statement, the Ministry stressed its aim to continue expanding the scope of testing nationwide to facilitate the early detection of coronavirus cases and carry out the necessary treatment.

Since the outbreak, the UAE has recorded 474,136 positive coronavirus cases, 458,885 have recovered and 1,516 passed away.
