UAE reports 2,012 new COVID-19 cases in 24 hours

The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) registered 2,012 new coronavirus cases on Monday.

In addition to the new cases, 2, 147 people have recovered and two people passed away.

Using state-of-the-art medical testing equipment, the ministry carried out 195,573 additional COVID-19 tests in the last 24 hours.

In a statement, the Ministry stressed its aim to continue expanding the scope of testing nationwide to facilitate the early detection of coronavirus cases and carry out the necessary treatment. 

Since the outbreak, the UAE has recorded 472,148 coronavirus cases, 456,747 have recovered and 1,512 passed away.
