UAE reports 2,113 new COVID-19 cases in 24 hours

The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) registered 2,113 new coronavirus cases on Sunday.

In addition to the new cases, 2,279 individuals have recovered and six people passed away due to complications.

Using state-of-the-art medical testing equipment, the ministry has conducted 260,445 additional COVID-19 tests in the last 24 hours.

In a statement, the Ministry stressed its aim to continue expanding the scope of testing nationwide to facilitate the early detection of coronavirus cases and carry out the necessary treatment.

Since the outbreak, the UAE has recorded 470, 136 coronavirus cases. 454,600 of those cases have recovered and 1,510 passed away.
