UAE registers 2,315 new COVID-19 cases in 24 hours

Gulf Today, Staff Reporter 

The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) recorded 2,315 new coronavirus cases on Thursday.

It also recorded 2,435 coronavirus recoveries and 2 deaths.

Using state-of-the-art medical testing equipment, the ministry carried out 237,240 additional COVID-19 tests over the past 24 hours.

In a statement, the Ministry stressed its aim to continue expanding the scope of testing nationwide to facilitate the early detection of coronavirus cases and carry out the necessary treatment. 

The UAE has recorded 463,759 positive coronavirus cases, 447,790 have recovered and 1,499 passed away.
