UAE records six deaths, 2,289 new COVID-19 cases

The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) reported 2,289 new coronavirus cases.

In addition to the new cases, 2, 422 individuals have recovered and six people passed away.

Using state-of-the-art medical testing equipment, the ministry carried out 223,799 additional COVID-19 tests in the last 24 hours.

 In a statement on Tuesday, the Ministry stressed its aim to continue expanding the scope of testing nationwide to facilitate the early detection of coronavirus cases and carry out the necessary treatment.

Since the outbreak, the UAE has recorded 459, 360 positive coronavirus cases, 443,153 have recovered and 1,492 passed away.
