UAE reports 1,874 new coronavirus cases in 24 hours

The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) recorded 1,874 new coronavirus cases on Monday. 

It also reported 2,025 recoveries and five deaths.

Using state-of-the-art medical testing equipment, the ministry carried out 167,309 additional COVID-19 tests in the last 24 hours.

In a statement on Monday, the Ministry stressed its aim to continue expanding the scope of testing nationwide to facilitate the early detection of coronavirus cases and carry out the necessary treatment.

Since the outbreak, the UAE has recorded 457,071 positive cases, 440,731 of those cases have recovered and 1,486 passed away.
