President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan has sent a cable of condolences to Abdel-Fattah Al Sisi, President of Egypt, for the victims of the collision between two passenger trains.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, have also dispatched similar cables of condolences to the Egyptian President.

Their Highnesses the Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the Emirates also sent cables of condolences to Sisi.
The cables were sent by Their Highnesses the Rulers Dr Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi of Sharjah, Sheikh Hamad Bin Mohammed Al Sharqi of Fujairah, Sheikh Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi of Ajman, Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mu'alla of Umm Al Quwain and Sheikh Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi of Ras Al Khaimah.
Similar cables were sent to the Egyptian president by the Crown Princes and Deputy Rulers of the Emirates.
The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in a statement extended its sincere sympathy to the government of Egypt and to the families of the victims over this great tragedy, and expressed speedy recovery to the injured.
The Sikh pilgrims were from the northwestern city of Peshawar and were returning home from a visit to the shrine of Nankana Sahib in Sheikhupura.
"Unknown individuals" triggered the emergency brakes on one of the trains causing it to stop, the rail authority said. President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi mourned the victims in a statement posted on his official social media and said those responsible would be punished.
The woman was driving in the wrong direction and collided with a heavy vehicle. The car and the body were burnt beyond recognition.
The development came as Belarus said it had intercepted missiles fired by Kyiv and Russia reported that Ukraine launched three cluster missiles at Belgorod, killing four people.
The Ministry stressed in a statement on Sunday that its aim to continue expanding the scope of testing nationwide to facilitate the early detection of coronavirus cases and carry out the necessary treatment.
Sheikh Mohamed expressed his sympathies and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
