UAE Rulers send condolences to Egyptian president over deadly train collision

President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan has sent a cable of condolences to Abdel-Fattah Al Sisi, President of Egypt, for the victims of the collision between two passenger trains.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, have also dispatched similar cables of condolences to the Egyptian President.

Their Highnesses the Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the Emirates also sent cables of condolences to Sisi.

The cables were sent by Their Highnesses the Rulers Dr Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi of Sharjah, Sheikh Hamad Bin Mohammed Al Sharqi of Fujairah, Sheikh Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi of Ajman, Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mu'alla of Umm Al Quwain and Sheikh Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi of Ras Al Khaimah.

Similar cables were sent to the Egyptian president by the Crown Princes and Deputy Rulers of the Emirates.

The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in a statement extended its sincere sympathy to the government of Egypt and to the families of the victims over this great tragedy, and expressed speedy recovery to the injured.
