UAE records 2,128 new coronavirus cases, 6 deaths in 24 hours

Gulf Today, Staff Reporter 

The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) reported 2,128 new coronavirus cases on Friday.

Additionally, 2,262 people have recovered and 6 individuals passed away.

Using state-of-the-art medical testing equipment, the ministry has conducted 236,782 additional coronavirus tests in the last 24 hours.

In a statement on Friday, the Ministry stressed its aim to continue expanding the scope of testing nationwide to facilitate the early detection of coronavirus cases and carry out the necessary treatment.

The UAE has recorded a total number of 450,765 cases since the outbreak, 434,035 have recovered and 1, 472 have passed away.
