2,043 new COVID-19 cases, 10 deaths in 24 hours in UAE

The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) reported 2,043 new coronavirus cases on Thursday.

In addition to the new cases, 2,200 people recovered and 10 people passed away.

Using state-of-the-art medical testing equipment, the ministry conducted 235, 564 additional COVID-19 tests in the last 24 hours.

In a statement on Thursday, the Ministry stressed its aim to continue expanding the scope of testing nationwide to facilitate the early detection of coronavirus cases and carry out the necessary treatment.

The UAE has recorded 448,637 positive cases of coronavirus, 431,773 have recovered and 1, 466 passed away.
