UAE announces 2,051 new COVID-19 cases

The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) reported 2,051 new coronavirus cases on Wednesday.

Additionally, 2,741 individuals have recovered and eight people passed away.

Using state-of-the-art medical testing equipment, the ministry conducted 236,988 additional COVID-19 tests in the last 24 hours.

In a statement on Wednesday, the Ministry stressed its aim to continue expanding the scope of testing nationwide to facilitate the early detection of coronavirus cases and carry out the necessary treatment.

Since the outbreak, the UAE has reported 432,364 positive cases, 413, 477 have recovered and 1,414 passed away.
