UAE announces 2,018 new COVID-19 cases

The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) reported 2,018 new coronavirus cases on Tuesday.

In addition to the new cases, 2,651 individuals have recovered and four people passed away.

Using state-of-the-art medical testing equipment, the UAE has conducted 208,085 additional COVID-19 tests in the last 24 hours.

In a statement on Tuesday, the Ministry stressed its aim to continue expanding the scope of testing nationwide to facilitate the early detection of coronavirus cases and carry out the necessary treatment.

Since the outbreak, the UAE has recorded 430,313 positive coronavirus cases, 410,736 have recovered and 1,406 passed away.
