The Dubai Police’s Maritime Rescue Unit managed to recover a vehicle that had slipped into the sea off the boat house in the Fishermen's Port in Umm Suqeim.

The unit also recovered a number of jet skis that were loaded on the vehicle’s trailer.

An Emirati wanted to take down a number of jet skis from his vehicle on the boats house in Fishermen's Port no. 3 in Umm Suqeim, but the car slid towards the seawater due to the loss of balance during unloading, said Lt. Colonel Ali Abdullah Al Naqbi, Head of the Maritime Rescue Department at the Ports Police Station.

"No harm was caused to the Emirati vehicle owner," he added.

After receiving the report, a specialised team from the unit rushed to the site to provide assistance in recovering the vehicle, jet skis and trailer from the sea and making sure the driver was safe, he said.
