Sheikh Mohammed recives Muhyiddin Yassin in Dubai on Wednesday. WAM
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, on Wednesday reviewed the prospects of building up economic partnerships and accelerating trade exchange with Muhyiddin Yassin, Prime Minister of Malaysia, who is on a working visit to the UAE.
This came as Sheikh Mohammed received the State guest in the presence of Sheikh Maktoum Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, at a meeting which focused on the importance of establishing investment partnerships between the two nations across various sectors, primarily ports, clean energy, manufacturing, food security, among others, to the best interests of the two countries' peoples.
Sheikh Mohammed underlined the necessity of spurring global economic growth and stemming the negative fallout of the COVID-19 pandemic on the global sustainable development drive.

Attending the meeting as well were Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group, Sheikh Ahmed Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation, Mohammad Bin Abdullah Al Gergawi, Cabinet Member and Minister of Cabinet Affairs, and Reem bint Ibrahim Al Hashemy, Minister of State for International Cooperation, along with Mohammed Ibrahim Al Shaibani, Director General of the Ruler's Court of the Government of Dubai, and Khalifa Saeed Sulaiman, Chairman of Protocols for the Vice President and Prime Minister.
Also in attendance were Khaled Ghanem Al Ghaith, the UAE ambassador to Malaysia, Ambassador of Malaysia to UAE, Mohamed Tarid Sufian, and the delegation accompanying the Malaysian premier.
Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan has received Nechirvan Barzani, President of Iraq's Kurdistan region, who is currently on a visit to the UAE. During the meeting, Sheikh Mohamed welcomed Barzani’s visit, aimed to expand cooperation and to serve the interests of both sides.
During the meeting, Sheikh Mohamed welcomed the prime ministers of Jordan and Egypt and asked them to convey his greetings to King Abdullah II and President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi, wishing further progress and prosperity for Jordan and Egypt.

Sheikh Mohammed said, "We want to achieve a qualitative leap in infrastructure, energy and transport fields as part of a vision that combines inclusiveness and integration and takes into account balance and sustainability and enhances our competitiveness regionally and globally."
The Programme focuses on advancing research and development (R&D) in five main areas in the sector – Production and Manufacturing; Consumer Services and Tourism; Healthcare and Connected Mobility; and Logistics.
Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has awarded contracts for constructing three all-inclusive Truck Rest Stops in partnership with the private sector. The first contract was made with Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), and two contracts with Almutakamela Vehicle Testing and Registration.
Sheikh Mohammed also tweeted, “The ‘The Most Beautiful Winter in the World” campaign, which we launch annually, achieved an increase in domestic tourism by 36% in 2021, reaching 1.3 million domestic tourists. Its people... and this year's motto is "Our heritage"... to spread the values of the most beautiful people.
