Dubai entities found violating safety measures brought to book

Dubai Municipality closed, on Tuesday, a salon, fitness centre, and laundry, fined 5 establishments and warned 31, for not adhering to social distancing and wearing masks within 2,289 campaigns carried out by municipality inspectors.

According to the municipality, the total compliance rate amounted to 98%, while the number of institutions meeting public safety requirements amounted to 2,250.

The municipality indicated its keenness to follow precautionary and preventive measures, through regular campaigns on institutions to monitor commitment to social spacing, increasing the cleaning and disinfection cycle at all times, commitment to wearing masks and gloves, checking the daily follow-up records of workers ’health, and recording sterilisation and disinfection.
