UAE announces 2,959 new coronavirus cases; 14 deaths

The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) reported 2,959 new coronavirus cases on Saturday.

Additionally, the Ministry has also recorded 1,901 recoveries and 14 deaths.

Using state-of-the-art medical testing equipment, 242,159 COVID-19 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours.

In a statement on Saturday, the Ministry stressed its aim to continue expanding the scope of testing nationwide to facilitate the early detection of coronavirus cases and carry out the necessary treatment.

The UAE has recorded 408,236 positive cases since the outbreak, 391,205 have recovered and 1,310 people passed away.
