UAE announces 3,498 new COVID-19 cases

The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) recorded 3,498 new coronavirus cases on Friday.

In addition to the new cases, 2,478 individuals have recovered and 16 people passed away.

Using state-of-the-art medical testing equipment, the ministry carried out 187,176 additional COVID-19 tests in the last 24 hours.

 In a statement on Friday, the Ministry stressed its aim to continue expanding the scope of testing nationwide to facilitate the early detection of coronavirus  cases and carry out the necessary treatment.

The UAE has recorded 385,160 positive coronavirus cases, 377,537 have recovered and 1,198 have passed away.
