UAE records 18 deaths and 3,294 new coronavirus cases

The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) recorded 3, 294 new coronavirus cases on Thursday.

In addition to the new cases, 3,431 people have fully recovered and 18 people passed away.

Using state-of-the-art medical testing equipment, the ministry has conducted 171, 667 additional COVID-19 tests in the past 24 hours.

In a statement on Thursday, the Ministry stressed its aim to continue expanding the scope of testing nationwide to facilitate the early detection of coronavirus cases and carry out the necessary treatment.

The UAE has recorded 361,877 positive coronavirus cases, 347,366 have recovered and 1,073 have passed away.
