UAE announces 3,167 new COVID-19 cases

The Ministry of Health and Prevention, MoHAP, reported 3,167 new coronavirus cases on Sunday.

In addition to the new cases, 5,059 individuals have recovered and 13 people died.

Using state-of-the-art medical testing equipment, the ministry conducted additional 207,432 COVID-19 tests in the last 24 hours.

In a statement on Sunday, the Ministry stressed its aim to continue expanding the scope of testing nationwide to facilitate the early detection of coronavirus cases and carry out the necessary treatment.

Since the outbreak, the UAE has recorded 348,772 positive coronavirus cases, 331,839 have recovered and 1,014 passed away.
