32-year-old woman jumps to death from 27th floor in Sharjah

In a tragic incident, a British woman of Indian origin allegedly jumped off the 27th floor balcony of her apartment in Al Taawun, Sharjah, on Sunday morning.
Financial issues and stress were said to be the reasons that triggered the 32-year-old woman to commit suicide, police sources revealed.
The incident was reported to police around 4:00am, and patrols were immediately dispatched to the scene to investigate the death.
Preliminary investigations pointed out that the victim was under the influence of alcohol when she decided to jump to her death. The building’s watchman was the first to witness the body.
The body was transferred to a forensic team to perform an autopsy, and Sharjah Police are now investigating the incident to reveal clear reasons behind the death.
