UAE announces 3,539 new COVID-19 cases

The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) reported 3,539 coronavirus cases on Wednesday.

In addition to the positive cases, 2,993 people have recovered and 9 people passed away.

Using state-of-the-art medical testing equipment, the ministry conducted 166, 879 additional tests in the last 24 hours.

In a statement, the Ministry stressed its aim to continue expanding the scope of testing nationwide to facilitate the early detection of coronavirus cases and carry out the necessary treatment.

The UAE has recorded 336,142 positive coronavirus cases, 316,053 have recovered and 956 individuals passed away.
