VIDEO: Dubai Police raid another private yacht party for violating COVID-19 rules

Dubai authorities have raided another private party at a yacht for violating COVID-19 guidelines.

The Dubai Media Office said on Twitter, “Dubai Police, in cooperation with the Dubai's Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing, issues a fine of Dhs50,000 to the organiser of a private party on a yacht violating social distancing and COVID-19 precautionary measures.

“Each participant was fined Dhs15,000. The yacht operator's license was suspended for a month.”

Authorities have been breaking down private parties and desert camps for not following the precautionary measures to curb the spread of coronavirus in the UAE.

The health experts have issued rules and regulation for holding social gatherings in the UAE.

The officials said people should not hold social gathering of more than 4 people without facemasks.

Over past few days, authorities in Dubai have fined two entities and people for violating virus protocols.

Dubai Police fined a yacht operator, desert camp organizer and a private party organizer for COVID-19 violations.  

Sheikh Mansoor Bin Mohammed Al Maktoum, Head of Dubai’s Supreme Committee of Crisis and Disaster Management chaired a meeting on Wednesday.

Sheikh Mansoor said, “I chaired a meeting of Dubai’s Supreme Committee of Crisis and Disaster Management as part of our regular assessments of local, regional and global Covid-19 developments. We are following an integrated plan to fully combat the pandemic and ensure the health and safety of all.

“Thanks to our leadership’s directives and the infrastructure that supports our healthcare ambitions, we have been able to establish a world-class mass vaccination campaign to protect the Dubai community by boosting its immunity and resilience against the virus.”
