Witnessing such a major achievement, Colonel Omer Ahmed Abul Zoud, Director of the CID, confirmed that police teams are always ready to tackle cyber criminals who prey on victims through bank and credit card scams.

“Awareness campaigns are regularly being carried out by the department in order to open people’s eyes to the vicious tricks that cyber criminals use to commit robberies or blackmailing,” Col. Abul Zoud added.

Police officials advise people to report if they have witnessed blackmailing or hacked account crimes through the e-mail tech_crimes@shjpolice.gove.ae, or by dialling the landline number 065943228, and WhastApp on 0559992158.
