UAE announces 2,876 new COVID-19 cases

The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) reported 2, 876 new coronavirus cases on Sunday.

In addition to the new cases, 2, 454 individuals have recovered and six people have passed away.

Using state-of-the-art medical testing equipment, the ministry conducted 171, 951 additional COVID-19 tests in the past 24 hours.

In a statement, the Ministry stressed its aim to continue expanding the scope of testing nationwide to facilitate the early detection of coronavirus cases.

The UAE has recorded 230, 578 positive coronavirus cases, 206, 114 people have recovered and 708 passed away.
