The Ministry of Health and Prevention, MoHAP, reported 1,730 new coronavirus cases on Thursday.
Additionally, 1, 435 individuals have recovered and four people passed away.
Using state-of-the-art medical testing equipment, MoHAP carried out 146, 721 additional COVID-19 tests in the last 24 hours.

In a statement on Thursday, the Ministry stressed its aim to continue expanding the scope of testing nationwide to facilitate the early detection of coronavirus cases and carry out the necessary treatment.
The UAE has recorded 207, 822 positive coronavirus cases, 184, 442 have recovered and 669 passed away.
