UAE reports record 1,723 new coronavirus cases

The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) reported 1,723 new coronavirus cases on Wednesday. Additionally, 1,607 individuals have recovered and three people passed away in the last 24 hours.

Using state-of-the-art medical testing equipment, MoHAP carried out 150,224 additional COVID-19 tests.

In a statement on Wednesday, the Ministry stressed its aim to continue expanding the scope of testing nationwide to facilitate the early detection of coronavirus cases and carry out the necessary treatment.

The UAE has recorded 206,092 coronavirus cases since the outbreak, 183,007 have recovered and 665 passed away.
