Indonesia to ban international visitors from entering the country for two weeks in order to curb the spread of the virus.

Foreign minister Retno Marsudi on Monday said the new regulation will be effective Jan.1.

Earlier in the year at the beginning of the pandemic, Indonesia banned all tourists with some exception for business travellers.

The new regulation cuts across all foreign visitors with the exception of high-level government officials.
