The Sharjah Police General Directorate helped a woman find her missing mobile phone after 8 months of losing it.
Lieutenant Col. Abdullah Rashed Alai, Head of Wasit Police Station, revealed that the phone was found by a police patrol about 8 months ago, and necessary procedures were carried out to find out about the identity of the owner.
The owner was found to be living in Ajman, and have been contacted multiple times by the police station to collect the missing phone.

For personal reasons, the owner did not show up for a long time to receive the phone so the police station dispatched a patrol to deliver the phone to her.
The station contacted a female police officer of Ajman Police to reach out for the owner and return it to her.
The owner expressed her deep gratitude to the Sharjah and Ajman Police Departments, pointing out the great efforts made to return people’s belongings despite police’s other responsibilities and priorities of maintaining the safety and security in the community.
