UAE records 1,171 new COVID-19 cases

Gulf Today, Staff Reporter 

The Ministry of Health and Prevention, MoHAP, reported 1,171 new coronavirus cases on Sunday.

It also recorded 866 recoveries and three deaths.

Using state-of-the-art medical testing equipment, the ministry carried out 128,562 additional COVID-19 tests.

In a statement on Sunday, the Ministry stressed its aim to continue expanding the scope of testing nationwide to facilitate the early detection of coronavirus cases and carry out the necessary treatment.

Since the outbreak, the UAE has recorded 193,575 new cases, 168,995 have recovered and 637 have passed away.
