UAE announces 1,284 new COVID-19 cases

The Ministry of Health and Prevention, MoHAP, recorded 1,284 new cases on Friday.

It also announced 765 recoveries and 1 death in the last 24 hours.

Using state-state-of-the-art medical testing equipment it has carried out 144,602 COVID-19 tests.

The UAE has recorded 191, 150 infected cases, 167,306 individuals have recovered and 630 people passed away.

In a statement, the Ministry stressed its aim to continue expanding the scope of testing nationwide to facilitate the early detection of coronavirus cases and carry out the necessary treatment.
