In a heartwarming gesture, His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qassimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, met the little Emirati girl Rayan Al Khori from Khorfakkan at his palace on Thursday afternoon.

Rayan’s video of thanking the Sharjah Ruler and her desire to meet him went viral on social media.

She was interviewed by a mediaperson where she expressed the desire to see the Sharjah Ruler and thank him for directing officials to develop the area.

She hoped the thanking video would reach Sheikh Sultan.

On Thursday, Sheikh Sultan invited the little girl to his palace.

The Ruler and girl spoke about the biodiversity and landscape.

Sheikh Sultan wrote a letter and they discussed manuscripts.     

The Sharjah Ruler also posed for photographs with Rayan against the backdrop of the pristine sea.

Sheikh Sultan inaugurated the Khorfakkan Amphitheatre last week.

The Khorfakkan Amphitheatre is a prominent artistic addition to the cultural landmarks in Sharjah. The building of the amphitheatre, which is the largest development project in the city, is located at the foot of “Al Sayed” mountain facing the beach of the city of Khorfakkan, allowing visitors to see the natural side of the city.

It is unique in its design that accommodates 3,600 individuals, and includes a cooling system that ensures the efficiency of use throughout the year by visitors.
