An Asian visitor was detained and referred to criminal court by the Dubai Public Prosecution for smuggling 869g of methamphetamine drugs into Dubai.
The incident dates back to last July, when police learned about the defendant’s possession of drugs, and immediately carried out investigations to arrest him red-handed.
Police teams arrested the defendant after he was found possessing 159 plastic capsules of methamphetamine drugs weighing 869g.
Drug test confirmed that the defendant was abusing drugs, and accordingly he now faces drug possession charges.

A 38-year-old Asian visitor was arrested and referred to criminal court on drug trafficking charges for smuggling 258g of heroin into the country.
