"Pakistan was among the first few countries to have accorded diplomatic recognition to the UAE. Since the historic day of 2nd December 1971, our bilateral relations have been based on mutual trust and common faith and values.

"Today under the current visionary leadership of both countries, bilateral ties between two brotherly nations continue to grow. These mutually beneficial relations encompass multi-faceted cooperation. These range from cultural and commercial relations to close cooperation in areas of security and defence. The UAE is the second home of 1.7 million Pakistanis residing in this beautiful country. The contribution of these Pakistanis is immense towards the development of both countries," he added.

"As our Emirati brothers and sisters celebrate this momentous occasion, Pakistanis join them in their celebrations, and pray for enduring peace, progress and prosperity of the UAE, for the health and happiness of its leaders, and for further strengthening and deepening of the special fraternal bonds between the UAE and Pakistan.

"Long live Pakistan-UAE Friendship."
