Gulf Today Report 

A 4.6 magnitude earthquake hit south of Iran on Sunday at 8:13 am, reported the National Centre of Meteorology.

In the statement, it added that the earthquake was of 10km depth.

According to the centre, "this is a natural activity on the borders of the Arabian plate in the south part of Iran along the Zagros mountains."

The tremors did not affect the UAE.
