Top Indian-American CEOs to join Joe Biden at meet

More and more Indian origin-Americans are making their presence felt in the portals of the Biden administration.

According to reports in sections of the Indian media, two Indian-American CEOs, Satya Nadella from Microsoft and Sonia Syngal from GAP, are among a select group invited by President-elect Joe Biden on Monday to discuss issues related to the country's economy.

Vice President-elect Kamala Harris is expected to join the new US President-elect in the virtual meeting with the top American CEOs.

The president-elect and vice president-elect will meet business and labour leaders to discuss the economic recovery.

Among the heavyweights who will be gracing the meeting are Brian Cornell, CEO and Chairman of the Board at Target; Mary Barra, CEO of General Motors; Mary Kay Henry, President of SEIU; Rory Gamble, President of UAW; Marc Perrone, President of UFCW; Lee Saunders, President of AFSCME, and Richard Trumka, President of AFL-CIO.
