UAE announces two more deaths and 1,292 new COVID-19 cases

The UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) announced on Friday 1,292 new coronavirus cases and two deaths.

In a statement, the MoHAP said that it conducted 137,606 additional COVID-19 tests over the past 24 hours, using state-of-the-art medical testing equipment.

The Ministry of Health ministry reported two more coronavirus-related deaths in the last 24 hours, pushing the official death toll to 510.

The UAE Ministry of Health also noted an additional 818 individuals had fully recovered from COVID-19, bringing the total number of recoveries to 136,936.
