Orthodox priest wounded in Lyon shooting, attacker on the run

An Orthodox priest has been wounded in a shooting incident in Lyon on Saturday.

The French Police said that the attacker is on the run.

French Interior Ministry said a serious incident is underway in the city of Lyon.

Security forces have cordoned off the area and are searching for the suspect.

The priest was believed to be a Greek national, was closing his church when the incident happened.

A source close to the incident said the priest is now in a critical condition.
