Fire erupts in a scrap car site in Sharjah industrial area

The Sharjah Civil Defence teams brought under control a fire that broke out in a site that contained scrap cars on Tuesday. No casualties were reported.
According to an official source, the operations room of the Sharjah Civil Defence received a report at 4:23am that a fire erupted in a site containing scrap cars in Industrial Area 10.
Civil defence and national ambulance vehicles rushed to the scene of the fire to find that the fire erupted in a number of scrap cars.
The teams did their utmost to put out the fire and prevent it from spreading.
They brought the fire completely under control without any casualties and continued to cool the site to prevent the fire from erupting again and hand over the site to the authorities concerned to detect the cause of the fire.
