Ras Al Khaimah announces free PCR tests for visitors

Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority (RAKTDA) in partnership with RAK Hospital is pleased to announce FREE COVID-19 PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) TESTING for all international visitors to Ras Al Khaimah.

As the first Global Destination to provide FREE PCR TESTING, RAKTDA will subsidize the cost of PCR testing in order to provide this essential service free of charge for its international guests and visitors.

Every international tourist is entitled to use this free offering by providing a passport with a valid tourist visa and hotel booking confirmation at the following COVID testing facilities

Reports (test results) will be made available within 12 – 24 hours allowing ample time prior to the guests departure flight.

Now until 31 December 2020, international guests staying overnight in Ras Al Khaimah will have access to free PCR testing at either RAK Hospital, one of the UAE’s most renowned private hospitals or RAK Medical Centre in Al Hamra Mall.

This offer is valid until 31 December 2020. This offer applies for departure from Ras Al Khaimah only. One PCR test per guest.

Ras Al Khaimah is the first city globally to be certified as a ‘safe destination’ by international certification body Bureau Veritas, as well as the first emirate in the UAE to receive the Safe Travel Label from the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC).
