Sharjah City Municipality has converted 2,992 parking spaces into paid parking spots in Muwailih, Al Nahda and Al Taawon areas.

The new paid parking spots were prepared according to the highest standards as part of the municipality's continued efforts to provide public parking spaces around the clock throughout the city of Sharjah, especially in the vital zones.

This step help prevent the misuse of parking spaces.

These parking spaces were equipped with  the necessary  parking signs and meters, some of which operate with touch screen.

Among the new paid parking spots,1755 parking spaces were converted to paid parking in Muwailih 3, and 651 in Al Nahda, and 586 in Al Taawon.
