UAE reports record 1,083 new coronavirus cases, a death

The UAE Health Ministry conducted 103,199 COVID-19 tests, reports 1,083 new coronavirus cases, bringing the total number of cases to 87,530.

The total number of recovered cases of coronavirus has reached 76,995 with 970 cases recovered on Wednesday after receiving treatment.

The ministry announced the death of a person who tested positive for COVID-19, due to complications.

This brings the total death toll to 406.

The Ministry went on to express its sincere condolences to the family of the deceased and wished current COVID-19 patients a speedy and full recovery.

The Ministry called on the public to cooperate with the health authorities and to adhere to the social distancing protocols and preventative measures to ensure the health and safety of all.
