Sheikh Sultan orders establishment of a club for people of determination in Kalba

His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, on Sunday ordered the establishment of a club for the people of determination in the city of Kalba, similar to the Khorfakkan’s club for people of determination.

 

The move comes in response to a request of a differently-abled caller to the “Direct Line” programme broadcast on Sharjah Radio and Television.

 

This was announced by Mohammad Khalaf, presenter of the programme, and Director General of the Sharjah Broadcasting Authority.

 

During the live broadcasting, Khalfa called the person, who requested the establishment of the club, and informed him the good news that Sheikh Sultan has ordered the establishment of the club in response to his request.

 

During his call to the programme Khalfa said “We want a club for the people of determination in Kalba, similar to the Al-Thiqa Club, and Khorfakkan club, we need a club for us, especially that there are over 200 people of determination in the city.”

 

The caller thanked Ruler of Sharjah for the gesture, appreciating his continued support to all segments of society.
