The Sharjah Private Education Authority (Spea) has begun the establishment of a new school in Kalba that aims to solve the problems faced by students and staff of Al Sahel School recently shut for non-compliance with conditions and specifications.
Opened under the directives of His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, the school’s establishment was announced by Mohammad Khalaf, Director General of the Sharjah Broadcasting Corporation, via the “Direct Line” programme aired on Sharjah Radio and Television.
After the closure of Al Sahel School the Sharjah Education Authority had transferred its students to three schools in the emirate and cancelled its licence.
