UAE conducts 71,322 COVID-19 tests, reports 229 new cases, no death

The UAE Health Ministry conducted 71,322 and reported 229 new cases of the coronavirus on Monday. This brings the total number of cases to 64,541.

The new cases identified are undergoing treatment.

The total number of recovered cases of coronavirus has reached 57,794 with 100 cases fully recovered on Monday after receiving treatment.

The health ministry announced that there were no death due to COVID-19 in the UAE for the past 24 hours.

On the other hand, the Ministry of Health, represented by the Fujairah Medical Zone, has announced the inauguration of a coronavirus, COVID-19, testing centre in Mirbah, which will perform free tests for all UAE citizens and residents, upon the directives of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah.

The inauguration of the centre took place in coordination with the emirate’s Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Team, in cooperation with the Fujairah Police.
