The UAE Health Ministry conducted 52,000 Covid-19 tests, revealed 375 new cases and bringing the total number of cases to 55,573.

The health ministry announced the death of one person who tested positive for COVID-19, due to complications. This brings the total death toll to 335.

The ministry expressed its sincere condolences to the family of the deceased and wished current COVID-19 patients a speedy and full recovery.

The total number of recovered cases of Coronavirus has reached 46,025 with 512 cases recovered on Tuesday after receiving treatment.

Meanwhile, Abu Dhabi Health Services Company’s (SEHA) pharmaceutical teams are playing a prominent role in combatting COVID-19 on the frontlines.

Pharmaceutical teams have joined the medical, nursing, and administrative staff in the nation’s fight against the virus, making it their national duty. Clinical pharmacists in particular are on the frontlines, supporting COVID-19 patients every day.

These teams are part of SEHA’s Allied Health arm - responsible for medical prevention, diagnostic treatment programs for a range of conditions and illnesses, in synergy with other multidisciplinary health teams to provide the best patient outcomes.

More than 13.19 million people have been reported to be infected by the novel coronavirus globally and 572,945 have died, according to a tally. Infections have been reported in more than 210 countries and territories since the first cases were identified in China in December 2019.

Drugmakers around the world are rushing to develop treatments for COVID-19, the fast-spreading respiratory disease caused by the novel coronavirus that has killed hundreds of thousands.

More than 100 vaccines are being developed and tested around the world to stop the COVID-19 pandemic, which has ravaged the global economy.
