UAE reports 344 new coronavirus cases and a death

The UAE Health Ministry conducted 34,478 new COVID-19 tests, and detected 344 new cases, bringing the total number of cases recorded in the country to 55,198.

The Ministry said 373 new cases have recovered from the disease, bringing the total number of recovered cases in the country to 45,513 cases.

The ministry reported the death of a patient from COVID-19, bringing the total death in the country to 334, while the total number of Covid-19 cases which is still receiving treatment in the state, is 9,351.

The Ministry expressed its sincere condolences to the family of the deceased and wished current COVID-19 patients a speedy and full recovery.

Dr Amna Al Dahak Al Shamsi, Official spokesperson of the UAE Government said, “While our heroes in the first line of defence continue their efforts and achieve success in all sectors in the Emirates.

“Following the rules and instructions greatly reduces the risks, and the current stage requires extreme care, which increases the chances of a full return to our normal life.”
