Dubai Municipality has denied rumours about a chewing gum containing alcohol, in a statement issued on Wednesday.

The second phase of the expansion of Jebel Ali Sewage Treatment Plant at a cost of Dhs1.3 billion has been completed by Dubai Municipality with the capacity of 375,000 cubic metres of water for this stage, thus taking the combined capacity of Warsan and Jebel Ali plants to about 1 million cubic metres.
