Abu Dhabi has set up an operation Centre (909) in Musssafah to deal with the coronavirus pandemic.

According to Fadel Ghadier Alshamsi, Director of Mussafah Police Station, the operation centre operartes 24/7 to answer and respond to all incoming phone calls from individual callers, companies and workers’ accommodation.

The centre is staffed with interpreter who can respond to callers of Asian nationalies.

“Cases of infection with coronavirus will be transported in ambulances. We first do an on-site assessment to see the case is critical or not,” says Alshamsi.

“If critical, they will be referred directly to hospital, If they are in a stable condition, we refer them to quarantine centres,"adds Alshamsi.
