Indian expat Assain Muzhippurath has hit the  Dhs 12 million Big Ticket jackpot in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday.

Assain who works as a salesman in Ajman, has been living in the UAE for 27 years.

Big Ticket said on its Facebook page, “Congratulations to Assain Muzhippurath, from India, with winning ticket no. 139411. He won Dhs12 Million in The Dream 12 Million series 216.”

Assain bought the ticket in May and was not expecting to win the prize money. 

Along with Assain, another Indian won the Dream Car raffle.

Big Ticket said, “Congratulation to Shinu Rajan with Ticket No. 001858 from India for winning the Dream Car Jeep Cherokee Series 2!”

Assain, who is 47, plans to return to his native land to his wife and daughters.

He also plans to invest some money in business.

Assain recalls that first he thought it was a prank call, later on being assured it is genuine; he said his life would change. 

Winning such an amount at this time is a blessing.

The Big Ticket is the largest and longest-running monthly raffle draw for cash prizes and dream luxury cars in Abu Dhabi.
