Burjeel Hospital marks advent of Eid with a baby born just a minute after midnight

Burjeel Hospital, Abu Dhabi’s premier healthcare facility, marked the advent of Eid Al Fitr with the birth of Baby just a minute after midnight.

Baby Selim Mohamed Elbasyamy was born at 00.01 in good health, weighing 2.9 kg. Blessed parents welcomed their newborn baby on the joyous occasion of Eid Al Fitr on Sunday.

They were overjoyed at their baby being the first one born on this day in the UAE.

Said Mohamed Elbasyouny and Mai Youssef Awad, “We are blessed to welcome our baby into the world on the first day of Eid Al Fitr. We want to thank Dr. Fady and all the nurses at Burjeel Hospital for taking such good care of our family, and for making sure everyone is healthy and fine, and making us feels at home.”
