US official welcomes Saudi announcement of ceasefire in Yemen

The United States welcomes the announcement by the Saudi-led coalition of a ceasefire in Yemen, the Saudi-owned Al-Arabiya TV channel reported on Wednesday, citing US Assistant Secretary of State David Schenker.
